Beach Maternity Session, Stamford CT

Maternity photos are a special way to capture a miraculous time. Many people have come to me during COVID saying without showers and celebrations photos are a great way to celebrate their pregnancy. I always suggest adding a photo or two from your maternity session to your newborn album!

Before a maternity session I like to share ideas for outfits and locations. One of my current favorite maternity dresses is here and here I like to send some examples of things to buy or I am slowly building a client wardrobe for clients to borrow for their session!

In Home Newborn Session using Natural Light, New Canaan, CT

I am thrilled to share my first newborn session of 2021. This was an in home newborn session, we used natural light to capture beautiful portraits and sweet moments. Baby Hart had the most gorgeous nursery. The soft colors and warm light made for a cozy spot for in home newborn photos.

Big sister had so many sweet snuggles for her little brother. She was a complete doll in her gorgeous dress, just glowing in the natural light.

I always love photos with the glider. Our glider was passed to us from a family member and it was so special. After nursing three babies in it, and reading endless board books, I don’t think I can ever part with it. I still miss those days of rocking my babies.

Sweet newborn baby Hart was a dream during his first photoshoot! He was so content!

Late Winter, Early Spring Photo Outfit Ideas, Darien, CT

As a mom who LOVES shopping, I thought I would gather a few outfit ideas for upcoming sessions! Families often ask me what to wear. I like to suggest neutrals, coordinating neutrals, so the focus of the image is on the subject.

I am so excited to share this sweet, in home, newborn session in Rowayton, CT. In addition to capturing their sweet newborn boy, I was able to capture some big sister photos, sibling photos, and family photos all in a very short amount of time! The sun was shining so we even went outside for a few!

Before the session mom, and I spoke over the phone to help plan the session. Given the current situation with COVID we wanted to keep the session moving quickly and smoothly. We discussed areas of their home for the newborn session using the natural window light.

Big sister is the same age as my youngest daughter, Georgia, so I loved every second with this family!

Family Beach Session, Darien, Fairfield County, CT

Beach sessions always feel so magical! Weather in Connecticut is always full of surprises, but when it is beautiful it makes for some gorgeous photos. I met this family mid December at our local beach to capture some family portraits and some fun moments. I love how they chose neutral clothing to highlight the mood of the moments, the simple beauty and love. We started on the dock as the sun began to set. Their little girl was snuggly and warmed up quickly!

Just a week before Christmas I photographed this beautiful baby girl in their new home in Westchester, NY. Baby T was welcomed with so much love from big sister, big brother, mom and dad.

We used the beautiful window light in their bedrooms to capture the sweet love between the three siblings.

It is starting to feel like this summer went by in the blink of an eye. Summer at the beach has truly been a dream. I was so excited to see this sweet family for an evening beach session. It was the evening before a tropical storm so the beach was cool and comfortable.
