Baby Girl’s In-Home Newborn Session, Rowayton, CT, Fairfield County, CTI

I am thrilled to share some high lights from baby Parker’s in home newborn session. Baby Parker was born just before Christmas so it was fun to capture both a neutral feel and a holiday feel, all while capturing simple, timeless, photos.

As always I arrive prepared for the session with plenty of newborn swaddles, occasionally an outfit for mom, and take a look around spaces for best light. Often when siblings are around I like to let them help determine the flow of the session.

A benefit of in-home newborn sessions is older siblings can take a break whenever need, feel comfortable in their home and truly have moments to steal the show!

Big brother was thrilled to take photos, so we jumped right in with family photos! A few games of peek a boo and he was smiling behind the camera! We started with some family photos in the nursery, the nursery had the most adorable wallpaper!

We gave big brother a little break then switched into holiday outfits to capture more memories! Baby sister had a beautiful personalized swaddle from The Beaufort Bonnet company, they have such sweet items found here .

Big brother wore an adorable holiday jumper from a sweet local store in Rowayton, CT called Classic Prep , they have the most beautiful items for boys and girls.

This beautiful park in New Canaan has so many locations for beautiful photos. Both in the evening and in the morning there is an abundance of warm light, beautiful fields, and fun trails. I love capturing a mix of portraits and fun shots! I love how they look in a gallery wall together.

Baby Mila was surrounded by so much love. She was the sweetest little baby during her in home newborn session in Westport, CT.

When I entered this gorgeous home in Westport, CT, I was surrounded by so many people that love this precious girl. In addition to her sweet parents, both sets of grandparents came for the session! They even had fun dog! It reminded me of when my oldest daughter Isabel was born. She was the first grand child on both sides of the family. Mila is a lucky little girl! We did some of the session with a “posed” feel, and the rest with a lifestyle feel. Which is my favorite combination. We used the natural light in this sweet nursery for family photos in Westport, CT.

Before the session mom and I spoke several times to plan the session. As a mom myself I know how hard these early days are and I wanted everyone to be as comfortable as possible.

In Home/Outdoor Maternity Session, Darien, CT

This adorable family is new to town and expecting their second baby! We watched the weather as we planned this maternity session in Darien, CT, and anyone local knows this has been one snowy winter! I loved that we were able to capture moments in various places inside and outdoors.

I love when moms decide to capture this precious time. When I was pregnant with my second my friend took a picture of me pregnant, then framed it and gave it to me. I treasure that photo so much.

This year with no events and celebrations these photos will be treasured even more.

While pregnancy is hard it really is so beautiful. Such a miracle. Such a gift.

In Home First Birthday, Family Session, Norwalk, CT

I am thrilled to share this in home, family session in Norwalk, CT. We used natural light to capture simple, timeless family photos. Baby C was born right before COVID hit and like many families couldn’t do newborn photos during that time so it was extra special to celebrate his first birthday during this family session.

We used areas of their home with natural light to capture family portraits, sweet moments, and lots of smiles and cuddles.

I loved the simple tones of their outfits! I may need that dress for myself. Baby C’s adorable overalls can be found here . The warm colors and beautiful natural light helped capture so many fun images. Baby C has the sweetest personality. He warmed up so quickly and had huge smiles!

He was so fast, crawling and walking, we stuck him in his gorgeous crib to capture his beaming smile.

I love how during in home family sessions, we can capture your little one in their “home” in their natural environment.

We ended the session with a mini cake smash! Who can resist those adorable moments of a baby sampling cake for the first time?

Family Beach Session, Darien, CT

Many of you know I just adore everything about the beach. I find it to be my favorite place to spend time with my family, to relax, and to connect with friends. The beach also happens to be one of my favorite locations for family photos. Over the next couple weeks I am going to share more from 2020 beach sessions! I am so excited that many returning clients have already booked a family session for 2021!

We are super lucky that we have two town beaches in Darien, CT. We also have gorgeous beaches in many surrounding towns. In the evening the light at the beach is just gorgeous! It makes for timeless family photos. I love to capture a mix of fun and candid, as well as, some posed shots!

In Home Newborn Session using Natural Light, New Canaan, CT

I am thrilled to share my first newborn session of 2021. This was an in home newborn session, we used natural light to capture beautiful portraits and sweet moments. Baby Hart had the most gorgeous nursery. The soft colors and warm light made for a cozy spot for in home newborn photos.

Big sister had so many sweet snuggles for her little brother. She was a complete doll in her gorgeous dress, just glowing in the natural light.

I always love photos with the glider. Our glider was passed to us from a family member and it was so special. After nursing three babies in it, and reading endless board books, I don’t think I can ever part with it. I still miss those days of rocking my babies.

Sweet newborn baby Hart was a dream during his first photoshoot! He was so content!
