In Home/Outdoor Maternity Session, Darien, CT

This adorable family is new to town and expecting their second baby! We watched the weather as we planned this maternity session in Darien, CT, and anyone local knows this has been one snowy winter! I loved that we were able to capture moments in various places inside and outdoors.

I love when moms decide to capture this precious time. When I was pregnant with my second my friend took a picture of me pregnant, then framed it and gave it to me. I treasure that photo so much.

This year with no events and celebrations these photos will be treasured even more.

While pregnancy is hard it really is so beautiful. Such a miracle. Such a gift.

In Home First Birthday, Family Session, Norwalk, CT

I am thrilled to share this in home, family session in Norwalk, CT. We used natural light to capture simple, timeless family photos. Baby C was born right before COVID hit and like many families couldn’t do newborn photos during that time so it was extra special to celebrate his first birthday during this family session.

We used areas of their home with natural light to capture family portraits, sweet moments, and lots of smiles and cuddles.

I loved the simple tones of their outfits! I may need that dress for myself. Baby C’s adorable overalls can be found here . The warm colors and beautiful natural light helped capture so many fun images. Baby C has the sweetest personality. He warmed up so quickly and had huge smiles!

He was so fast, crawling and walking, we stuck him in his gorgeous crib to capture his beaming smile.

I love how during in home family sessions, we can capture your little one in their “home” in their natural environment.

We ended the session with a mini cake smash! Who can resist those adorable moments of a baby sampling cake for the first time?
