First Birthday Milestone Session and Cake Smash

I am very excited to share this first birthday, cake smash session! I met this gorgeous family last year when we took newborn photos and in the blink of an eye sweet Charlotte is ONE!

We met at a beautiful park on the morning of her first birthday! We started with some fun, sweet family shots. She was such a happy girl through the whole session!

Mom brought the most beautiful cake and it was so fun to watch her dig right in!

I am excited to share another beautiful beach session. I met this adorable family at a local beach in the early evening. It is the perfect time of year to capture family portraits. The beach naturally brings so many smiles to everyone.

I met this beautiful family at the local beach early in the morning for a petite family session. We are so lucky to have this special spot in town. The morning light is stunning and the love between this family was pure magic. I met them when their baby girl was first born and loved seeing how much she grew. I love how during this short sessions we can capture nice family photos along with those precious candid moments.

Outdoor Newborn Session, Darien CT

I am so excited to share my first session back after three months of shelter in place orders. This precious baby boy was born just before the world changed and when we were finally able to safely capture him, he was almost three months old! At three months it is extra fun because he still had the magic of a newborn and also the cutest smiles!

This handsome boy had the most amazing hair and a perfect little face! His eyes lit up every time he saw his parents!

Safely shooting from 6+ feet away, outdoors, and with a mask still allowed us to capture the sweetest of moments.

This past Fall was filled with the most amazing Family Sessions! I loved meeting families for petite sessions that captured so much beauty in a short amount of time! We are lucky to live in an area with beaches and parks along the water. This beautiful family was filled with cuddles and love as we captured their family photos. This was my first time shooting at this location and the light was magic.

How precious is this little girl snuggling with her mom? Her gorgeous eyes are so full of expression.

I truly cannot wait until we can get back to shooting outdoors, I think everyone will be appreciating the little things even more.

I hope everyone is doing well during this scary time. I certainly have enjoyed slow days with my family and finally some time to catch up on blogging!

I met this beautiful family last Fall to capture a natural, lifestyle, maternity session. The field was gorgeous as the evening sun was setting and the beautiful greens were bright. This mom was literally glowing. I had so much fun playing with her toddler son and capturing the fun that all had together. We started off with photos of just mom and then got everyone involved.

I love to also capture expecting mothers with their child. When kids are there we have so much fun playing games and running around. Lots of snuggles and kisses get the best smiles!

My absolute favorite place for sessions is at our local beaches in the early evenings! The light is pure magic! This session was just gorgeous! I loved capturing their pure joy at just being together as a family. These sweet sisters remind me of my girls at this age.

Outdoor First Birthday, Cake Smash!

This Fall I photographed my first Cake Smash! It was so fun! It was extra special because I photographed this adorable little girl as a newborn, and it was such a gift to watch her grow up!

Mom brought the most beautiful cake and we embraced the perfect fall weather with pumpkins and Fall colors! Baby R was so adorable exploring the cake, tasting, then loving the cake! It was so fun to watch! We all couldn’t stop laughing!
