This adorable family is new to town and expecting their second baby! We watched the weather as we planned this maternity session in Darien, CT, and anyone local knows this has been one snowy winter! I loved that we were able to capture moments in various places inside and outdoors.

I love when moms decide to capture this precious time. When I was pregnant with my second my friend took a picture of me pregnant, then framed it and gave it to me. I treasure that photo so much.

This year with no events and celebrations these photos will be treasured even more.

While pregnancy is hard it really is so beautiful. Such a miracle. Such a gift.

Beach sessions always feel so magical! Weather in Connecticut is always full of surprises, but when it is beautiful it makes for some gorgeous photos. I met this family mid December at our local beach to capture some family portraits and some fun moments. I love how they chose neutral clothing to highlight the mood of the moments, the simple beauty and love. We started on the dock as the sun began to set. Their little girl was snuggly and warmed up quickly!

First Birthday Milestone Session and Cake Smash

I am very excited to share this first birthday, cake smash session! I met this gorgeous family last year when we took newborn photos and in the blink of an eye sweet Charlotte is ONE!

We met at a beautiful park on the morning of her first birthday! We started with some fun, sweet family shots. She was such a happy girl through the whole session!

Mom brought the most beautiful cake and it was so fun to watch her dig right in!
